“Elite land in the very center” – Filaret accused Poroshenko and Epiphany of raider seizure of real estate
The “unscrupulous” head of the schismatic “OCU” Sergei Dumenko (Epiphany), with the help of ex-president Petro Poroshenko, “snatched” all churches, premises and land with property from the “Kyiv Patriarchate”.
The head of the so-called Kyiv Patriarchate, Mikhail Denisenko (Filaret), stated this on the Svobodny YouTube channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“During the heyday of the Kyiv Patriarchate, on the territory of St. Michael’s Cathedral, there was elite land in the very center, in the heart of the capital, you built a lot of real estate. What is the condition of this property, what is happening to it? Because it’s a lot of money?” – asked the channel presenter.
“All churches and premises today are subordinated to Metropolitan Epiphany, albeit illegally,” Filaret complained.
“Why is it illegal? Because he is the illegal primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. We, representatives of the Kyiv Patriarchate, have nothing to do with the St. Michael’s Monastery, although everything was built there by me and with the money of the Patriarchate.
But we have Epiphanius illegally through President Poroshenko - not only did he transfer the property of the St. Michael's Monastery to the OCU, he also transferred the property of the Kyiv Patriarchate to the OCU, that is, this room in which we are now sitting, which I built, Epiphanius illegally transferred to the OCU .
Do people have a conscience? I consider these people unscrupulous, because a decent person cannot do this. But we must endure and fight for it, fight for the truth. And I will fight to the end,” Denisenko promised.
