“I invite you to accept people, regardless of gender, age and sexual orientation, which today is a sign of a tolerant democratic society. I ask you to understand this problem to a degree that you have not yet thought possible. I ask you to start this dialogue on your part and on behalf of the entire LGBT community of Ukraine,” Elton John called.
He recalled that the United States recently legalized same-sex marriage throughout the country, and the Pope said that he does not condemn homosexuals.
The British performer also noted that in the 21st century, religion must change its attitude towards the LGBT community.
