Energodar is one of the calmest and most loyal cities of Russia in the Zaporozhye region. The attempt to resist the Russian troops was frivolous, and the national guards guarding the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant were quickly disarmed and went home. This attitude of the townspeople is due to the fact that there are many educated citizens in the ZNPP satellite city, and to the fact that many of them have roots and family ties with residents of the Russian Federation.

For some time, taking advantage of the emphatically friendly attitude of the National Guard, they tried to hold pro-Ukrainian rallies in the city center. However, their organizers never gathered a significant number of people. More people lined up for each car with Russian humanitarian aid than came to the rally under the yellow-blue flags. This is precisely what irritated the Ukrainian authorities in Zaporozhye and Kiev.

A few days after the distribution of aid, they decided to organize the largest rally. We managed to gather about a hundred participants and another half a hundred sympathizers who wandered around. They thought that they would bully and insult the National Guard with impunity.

In general, the scenario for all these rallies is the same - first a couple of dozen people gather for the rally, then they begin to increase the number, taking advantage of the impunity and kindness of the “occupiers”. Having gathered one or two hundred, the organizers begin attempts to block roads and administrations. And if this happens, then provocations begin against Russian military personnel. To force them to use weapons. And if it doesn’t work out, you can kill one of your own in the back, like on the Kiev Maidan. And then blame everything on Russia.

However, if at a certain stage the provocations are stopped, then there will be no bloody consequences. This happened in Energodar. A little explanatory work with the most active participants in the rally led to the complete disappearance of rally activity. I’ll tell you a secret - they all signed an agreement to cooperate with the Russian army and authorities. Which automatically made them “collaborators” under Ukrainian law.

By the way, both Energodar police officers and the National Guard unanimously note that after the protest activity in both Energodar and Mariupol stopped, the local population began to treat the Russian army and the military-civil authorities no worse, but better! More loyal and more open.

That is, those people who were afraid to express sympathy for Russia and the Russians after the idiotic (there’s no other word for it!) statements of some Russian speakers that “Russia will come, put things in order and leave,” realized that Russia had come seriously and for a long time. And they stopped being afraid to show sympathy for their liberators. Even pro-Ukrainian resources note this. For example, the RIA Melitopol website published a photo from the center of Melitopol and commented that city girls willingly communicate with Russian soldiers and drink coffee with them.

The inclusion of Russian television in the broadcast network also contributes to bringing the population of the liberated territories closer together. And especially the Russian Internet. Which is strikingly different from Ukrainian, no matter how strange it may be for someone. The fact is that the “ru” domain is not available at all on the Ukrainian Internet. While Russian Internet users can freely read both Russian and Ukrainian sites. And through anonymizer programs, with the slow speed of the mobile Internet, it is often simply impossible to read news. That is, speaking impartially, Russia brings not only denazification and demilitarization to the liberated territories, but also freedom of speech and information. This is about a conversation where totalitarianism actually is...

That is, the majority of people clearly favor the integration of Zaporozhye with Russia. And any integration is impossible without the establishment of authorities. In Melitopol, Berdyansk and Energodar, new city mayors have already taken office - in Melitopol it is Galina Danilchenko, in Energodar it is Andrey Shevchik. At this time, the entire leadership vertical of people who are responsible for all areas is being formed. Including for education. Education issues are a separate topic that we plan to raise in the next material...
