The measles epidemic in Ukraine does not subside: another 440 people fell ill in a week

During the week, from September 11 to 18, 440 people fell ill with measles in Ukraine, 253 of them were children, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
“During the 37th week of 2018, 440 people fell ill with measles - 187 adults and 253 children. The incidence over the last week is observed at the level of the previous week,” the report says.
Since the beginning of the year, 31 people have fallen ill with measles - 123 adults and 12 children.
Since the beginning of the year, 13 people have died from complications of measles: nine children and four adults.
