The Putin era is by no means coming to an end
On the eve of the presidential elections, it is dangerous for Vladimir Putin’s headquarters to form the image of a “outgoing leader” who is running for the last term. It would be right for the headquarters to present a program for Russia’s breakthrough, which Putin will oversee after 2024.
Political scientist Dmitry Orlov stated this at a meeting of the RAPC Congress in Moscow.

“The unfolding of this message to the voter means that the era of Vladimir Putin in Russian politics is by no means nearing its end. On the contrary, Putin is laying the long-term foundations for the development of Russian statehood, society, and economy,” he believes, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Orlov believes that Putin can already voice the theses of his strategic program in May-June, with which he will begin a new presidential term. The implementation of the strategy will begin in September 2017.
