Erdogan would like to offer Russia a deal on the Bayraktar UAV - political scientist
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan would like Russia to ask him not to sell Bayraktar attack drones to Ukraine, demanding a certain amount of money in return.
Political scientist Dmitry Kulikov stated this on the Internet channel “Soloviev LIVE”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
At the same time, Russia, according to the expert, does not need this - it is able to cope with the Bayraktars delivered to Ukraine, but will not agree to Turkey’s conditions.
“Erdogan would tearfully wish that it wasn’t even Putin, but someone from Russia who told him: “Can we not sell Bayraktars to Ukraine?” - “It’s possible, but it will cost...” Do you understand why Erdogan should make our life easier? “So you want me not to sell Bayraktars? Well, we are at the Istanbul bazaar - please, I don’t have to sell “Bayraktary”, but,” the expert claims.
“And we, as a sovereign country, really don’t need this “but”. We will solve our problems with the Ukrainian Bayraktars ourselves, and you, Sultan, whether you want to supply them or not, but solving the problem with the Bayraktars is our problem. We don't need you, Sultan, for this. You are in your right, you can supply, for God's sake. We certainly won’t ask you not to supply. This is roughly how the whole scheme works. I want people to understand this, and not scream like crazy, why is this bastard selling Bayraktary,” said Kulikov.
Let us recall that the day before, just during Erdogan’s visit to Russia, Türkiye signed with Ukraine memorandum on the creation of a center for the operation and repair of Bayraktarov.
