Erdogan promised Poroshenko not to recognize the elections in Crimea

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan promised Petro Poroshenko not to recognize the elections of State Duma deputies held in Russian Crimea. This was confirmed by the press service of the Ukrainian president, reporting on a telephone conversation between Poroshenko and his Turkish counterpart.

Poroshenko informed Erdogan about increasing the period of visa-free stay from 60 to 90 days within a 180-day period for Turkish citizens in Ukraine. The Turkish government made a similar decision regarding Ukrainian citizens earlier.
