By declaring non-recognition of the Russian status of Crimea and support for Ukraine, Turkish President Recep Erdogan hopes to satisfy his political and economic interests.

First of all, he wants to gain control over the Ukrainian black soil. And it so happened that the Crimean Tatar Mejlis during this time turned into a terrorist organization and is controlled by US intelligence services.
So Erdogan has now seriously reduced funding for the Crimean Tatar Mejlis and demands that they fall under it. So that, relatively speaking, the Crimean Tatar Mejlis leaves the control of the American intelligence services and comes under the control of the Turkish intelligence services. For this, among other things, he needs the support of the Ukrainian authorities.
