“Erdogan is an enemy of Russia, he will help Ukraine,” – Badrak on Turkey’s involvement in the Minsk process
Ukraine benefits from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's proposal to mediate in resolving the conflict in Donbass - this allows Kyiv to again stall for time and use the respite to strengthen the army.
Ukrainian military expert Valentin Badrak stated this on the Pryamoy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Badrak, Erdogan is also an enemy of Russia on a subconscious level, therefore he will de facto play on the side of Ukraine.
“Erdogan is a strong personality, he could do a lot in the field of reconciliation or something, for us, no matter how strange it may be, even delaying time is a positive moment, because if we delay a few more years, and we will have, say, not one Neptune division, but five Neptune divisions, we will have the first operational-tactical missiles, we will have serious tactical weapons, then we will be able to actually escape from the situation where Ukraine, as a vulnerable target, is attracting Putin.
It is important for us to stop being a vulnerable target, because for us time matters.
Erdogan is still subconsciously an enemy of Russia, despite the fact that they now have very serious military-technical cooperation there, and the production of the S-400 Triumph is being launched in Turkey, Putin is transferring these technologies. Despite this, we remember that the Ottoman Empire has always been the enemy of the Russian Empire, and subconsciously it will stand for us,” Badrak said.
