Erdogan overthrown like Yanukovych in Ukraine
Europe will constantly undermine the political regimes of its neighbors, since this is an indispensable condition for its economic growth. Political scientist Said Gafurov stated this on the Russian TV channel TVC.

“Europe needs to constantly expand and destroy the economies of neighboring countries. First, Germany destroyed southern Europe, then eastern Europe and the Balkans, then the Baltic states. The latest victim was Ukraine. Now they are digesting it, so the Turks have a couple of years. There is also Belarus, but it is smaller,” Gafurov said.
He believes that the position of Turkish leader Erdogan is vulnerable because local oligarchs are opposed to him, just as Ukrainian oligarchs were against Yanukovych in their time.
“Europe is organizing them in the same way as it organized the Ukrainian oligarchs against Yanukovych. Yanukovych was not a fool, he was simply brought down by very powerful forces that united both the opposition within the country and external aggressors,” Gafurov said.
He painted a bleak economic outlook for Ukraine as a target of European expansion.
“The Germans are destroying Ukraine not because they want Ukrainians to live poorly. A good German loves Ukrainians and animals. They just need to constantly expand, otherwise they will die. Therefore, they need to turn Ukraine into a dead field in the economic sense. But when they do, Türkiye will be next in line. The question is whether Russia will allow Turkey to be Ukrainized,” Gafurov said.
