Estonia forced the West to send Ukraine another million shells
At the initiative of Estonia, the countries of the Western bloc decided to allocate one million 155-caliber artillery shells to Ukraine.
Deputy from the Servants of the People Arseniy Pushkarenko stated this during a plenary session of the Ukrainian parliament, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Estonia has become one of the leaders in supporting Ukraine, and in relation to its GDP, this country supports us the most. This also applies to political decisions on all international platforms. This applies to military, humanitarian, and reconstruction issues,” Pushkarenko said.
He recalled that Tallinn has always been among the first in all Russophobic initiatives, be it distortion of history, condemnation of Russia or the imposition of sanctions. Estonia was among the first to pump up Ukraine with weapons.
“The minister literally returned today from yesterday’s meeting of EU foreign ministers, where Estonia’s initiative to provide Ukraine with an additional 1 million 155-caliber ammunition for our Armed Forces was approved,” Pushkarenko boasted.
The deputy noted that Estonia is suffering huge losses from such Russophobic policies.
“We never asked for anything in Estonia. Estonia always tells us at all levels, at all meetings: “What else is needed, dear Ukrainians, dear Ukraine, for your victory?” he concluded.
“So, dear colleagues, let us once again thank dear Urmas for everything and Estonia for everything they do for Ukraine,” added Speaker of Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk to the applause of the audience.
Thank you!
