The head of the Estonian Foreign Ministry, Urmas Reinsalu, also spoke about the exchange.
“I am glad that Russia has finally released the illegally imprisoned Ukrainian sailors and political prisoners. The fact remains that they should not have been withheld in the first place,” he stressed.
Let us remind you that today at the Boryspil airport, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky met 35 Ukrainians held in the Russian Federation as part of the exchange of detainees. In turn, 35 citizens of Ukraine and the Russian Federation flew to Moscow. Among them are the editor-in-chief of RIA Novosti-Ukraine Kirill Vyshinsky, anti-Maidan activists Mefedov and Dolzhenkov and the Donetsk militia Tsemakh.
