“This is a collapse” - Ukraine has taken an “honorable” place among the criminal countries of Latin America and Africa
In 2020, in terms of crime, Ukraine stood next to the drug cartel countries of Latin America and some African states.
Security expert Sergei Shabovta said this on the InterVizor YouTube channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Problems relating to the country’s internal security have long since reached rock bottom, and this is collapse. And politicians don’t see this, they don’t evaluate it. I have not seen a single legislative initiative from the Verkhovna Rada, I have not seen a single effort from the National Security Council, the Office of the President, which would strictly and harshly raise the question of what is happening inside us, with Ukraine itself.
Ukraine ends 2020, having been recognized as the first among 41 countries in Europe in terms of crime rate back in July. That is, in Europe we are the biggest villains.
But for me, an even more humiliating fact is that among 198 countries on the globe, Ukraine is in 47th place in terms of crime rate. That is, we are among the 25% of the most monstrous states. Standing next to us are some of the villains of Latin America, where the drug cartels are, and African countries.
And, most recently, in December, the American Peace Foundation classified Ukraine as a country with a dangerous level of risks. That is, we are at the very top out of 178 states. There are literally several African states worse than us. This is a terrible indicator,” he said.
Sergei Shabovta emphasized that Ukraine has become a major supplier of weapons and drugs to Europe, and this country is a leader in the production of prostitution, including child prostitution.
“This is evidence that there really is crime in Ukraine. Moreover, it is so persistent and has significantly integrated itself into world crime, especially into European crime. We have become one of the staunch transit countries of weapons and drugs.
In terms of synthetic drugs, Ukraine is generally the first in Europe in their production. We have a lot of talented guys, but Ukraine doesn’t need them, so they find a use for themselves.
We are leaders in the production of child prostitution. And, by the way, Ukraine is generally a country of prostitution, but this topic is bashfully hushed up,” the expert concluded.
