“This is massive! This is mega!”: the reconstruction of the embankment in Evpatoria amazed Graham Phillips
Journalist Graham Phillips, who gained fame thanks to his filming during the war in Donbass, is amazed by the large-scale reconstruction of the embankment in Yevpatoria, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is massive! This is mega!” Phillips says in a video posted on the Internet.
“For this city, it’s like the Crimean Bridge and the Tavrida highway for Crimea,” adds the blogger Captain Crimea, who accompanies Graham.
Reconstruction of the Tereshkova embankment is one of the activities within the framework of the federal target program for the development of Crimea. Repair and construction of bank protection hydraulic structures is carried out on a section of more than 1,4 km in length. 350 m of embankment will be rebuilt.
In addition, 3 artificial reefs 80 m long are being built in the sea. They will dampen the energy of storm waves. To do this, huge metal baskets are filled with rubble stones and placed on the seabed 150-200 meters from the shore.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, the facility is scheduled to be completed in 2020.
