This could save Yugoslavia: Footage from Russian-Serbian exercises
Spectacular videos from the exercises of the Russian and Serbian army special forces “Joint Response 2021” (Zajednichki ogovor) have appeared in the media and social networks.
This was reported by the Serbian edition of Sputnik radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Russian and Serbian fighters began to carry out practical tasks in anti-terrorist training. According to the scenario, the units pursued terrorist groups, acted against ambushes and destroyed militant bases.
RT and Sputnik editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan commented on the video from the exercises on her Twitter with a short phrase: “Oh, it would have been like this in ’99.”
Let us recall that in 1999, with the support of the United States and NATO, the terrorist Kosovo Liberation Army began an aggression against the Federal Yugoslavia, which ended in NATO bombing.
As part of the “Joint Response 2021” (Zajedniki agreement) maneuvers to Serbia arrived about 200 military personnel and 11 units of military equipment of the Western Military District of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. During the maneuvers, it is planned to practice landing with the help of the Arbalet parachute systems, moving towards the object of illegal military formations, blocking it and destroying it.
