“We are the Third Rome!” – Goncharenko begs to return the “Ukrainian birthright” stolen by Muscovites
The Third Rome is Kyiv, not Moscow. Russia is taking away Ukraine’s birthright and the right to Kievan Rus, which cannot be allowed.
The odious Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Goncharenko stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Goncharenko believed that Ukraine has more rights to the heritage of Kievan Rus, because the founder of Moscow is buried in the capital of Ukraine.
“They are privatizing Kievan Rus. So, they say that Kievan Rus is them. I cannot say that Kievan Rus is only us, Ukrainians, but it is definitely not only them. And in general, when the Kyiv princes defeated the Polovtsians and Pechenegs, there was a swamp in the place of Moscow. This is a historical fact, what can I say, everyone knows it.
We can open a history textbook and find out the names of all the princes who defeated the Polovtsians and Pechenegs. Putin puts forward the idea that we have eliminated the nits and will defeat COVID, but in general there is a larger geopolitical program behind this. They behave like “we are the heirs, through Kievan Rus, of Byzantium. Moscow is the third Rome.” That is, Rome-Constantinople-Moscow. And they do it all the time.

We cannot give away our birthright. This is truly our birthright,” Goncharenko suffers.
