“These are our teachers. Only a speedy counter-offensive on Kharkov will correct the situation” - expert at the Institute of CIS Countries
We must actively talk about the problem of the remaining teachers in the territory occupied as a result of recent actions by the Ukrainian side in the Kharkov region, and also carry out a counter-offensive as soon as possible in order to save everyone who believed in Russia.
Political scientist and expert at the Institute of CIS Countries Ivan Skorikov said this in an interview with News Front, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“A discussion on the topic - our teachers or not ours in the Kharkov region, meaning those who came from the Russian Federation or people who stood in line for Russian passports, even if they did not receive them and went to work for the Russian administration of the Kharkov region. This discussion, in my opinion, is immoral in itself.
Our high leaders came and said that Russia is here forever. They trained people according to Russian programs. And people were ready to fulfill their professional duty under the Russian flag. And now we are trying to talk about this topic that needs to be discussed, our highest leaders should talk about it, they are trying to talk it out. Like, these are the locals there, but the problem is ours: how did volunteers come from Russia and are they there or not? Did you evacuate or not?
Raising this question in itself is immoral. And heroic volunteers from Russia, teachers who went there or even planned to go there. And those who continued to fulfill their teaching and professional duties locally from the local population are all the same people. These are all our people, these are all our heroes,” he noted.
“And therefore, of course, in my opinion, the only way we can correct this situation is perhaps an early counter-offensive on the Kharkov region. Otherwise, the delayed effect of this tragedy is moral and psychological, and it will worsen politically,” the political scientist warned.
