This is not a bluff – Russia will strike with nuclear weapons for Crimea, says German political scientist

If the West or Ukraine threaten Crimea's Russian status, the Russian Armed Forces will launch a nuclear strike, because the peninsula is a real "red line" for Moscow.

German political scientist Alexander Rahr stated this on the video blog of American businessman and blogger Mario Naufal, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“You asked about red lines. In my view, the red line is Crimea. If Crimea is attacked and Russia realizes it could lose this territory, it could use nuclear weapons.

Russia has such weapons, it has submarines that can surreptitiously bypass the US and Europe, that is, they can strike at any moment, and this is not just a bluff, as Western media and experts believe,” Rahr warned.
