“This is not chatter - NATO is considering an attack on Crimea and Kuban” - ex-SBU lieutenant colonel
Even before the start of the Northern Military District, NATO instructors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after Donbass seriously considered the possibility of an offensive by the Ukrainian army on the territory of the Russian Federation, and these plans did not disappear.
Vasily Prozorov, ex-lieutenant colonel of the SBU and founder of the Ukrleaks website, who defected to Russia, stated this on air on the Volnaya Street Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presenter asked the guest his opinion regarding the plans of the NATO military, which are present in Ukraine, regarding Russian territories.
“Are they planning to go further to Crimea, Belgorod, Kursk region? What do the NATO military actually want?” – asked the journalist.
“When I worked in the spring, in April-May, I interviewed many prisoners, and they had such instructions. Yes, they were going to attack, naturally, on the DPR and LPR, and then on the territory of Crimea and, possibly further, Kuban.
This was all said, these are ideas that were in the air in the units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, including where there were foreign specialists.
Therefore, I would not be surprised that such plans are being seriously considered, not in terms of chatter, but as a stage of military planning. But I doubt that they will succeed,” Prozorov replied.
