These are not Nazis, this is fascism - Lukashenko about Western diplomats
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko accused Western diplomats of fascism and urged not to believe them.
He said this today at a cleanup event at the Khatyn memorial, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Don't trust them. It has become a fashion for them: to come, cry, apologize for how bad they did here. What happens next: sanctions, sanctions, sanctions. Therefore, do not believe their bows. They are doing their Anglo-Saxon work, or the work of the collective West. They don't care about our history. And to this ambassador, and to other ambassadors. We will generalize and dump what they are doing here - you will be horrified.
It’s not even Nazis anymore, it’s akin to fascism. In the form of sanctions and pressure on Belarus. Therefore, no one needs their moaning near Khatyn,” Lukashenko said.
In this way, he responded to the apology of the German Ambassador in Minsk, Manfred Huterer, for the behavior of the Buchenwald-Dohr Mittelbau Memorial Foundation, which the day before decided not to invite official representatives of Russia and Belarus to the event in memory of the victims of the concentration camp on April 11.
Moreover, at the event organized by the foundation, the flag of Belarus was replaced with the white and red flag of Belarusian nationalists.
After this, Huterer was summoned to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, and the General Prosecutor's Office of Belarus opened a criminal case for inciting hatred. A protest picket was held in front of the German embassy. The ambassador apologized to the demonstrators.
