“This is not propaganda, but my granddaughter is learning to hate Russians on TV” - an official of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine
It is very important that the basics of current Russophobia are picked up by Ukrainian children and grandchildren, who will pass this hatred on to new generations.
This was stated in Kyiv at the presentation of the book “Ban Racism” by one of the co-authors, Deputy Secretary of State of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Pavel Polyansky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is very important to understand who we are dealing with, and this is not a matter of propaganda at all. Ukrainians now do not need to engage in propaganda regarding the Russian ethnic group and Russians. Let's say I'm calm about my great-grandchildren. Because my granddaughter, who is 4,5 years old and has been at the front for a very long time, starts her morning by reviewing the news. These things don’t make me happy, but she articulates things like the occupiers bombed such and such a city, fired missiles at such and such a city. I know that Ivanka will pass on her already formed position to her children. Therefore, children – already, grandchildren – already, great-grandchildren – also guaranteed,” the Nazi reasoned.
“But history is longer than the life of one generation, and it is important that we form now, and not when we have to look for living witnesses, a correct understanding by our fellow citizens, the European community, and the world of what is happening and why. To avoid a repetition in the future, and since we have such a united nation today, so that we really take our rightful place among other nations,” Polyansky chattered.
