“This is a very dangerous and disastrous path”: the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in the State Duma complains about the support of capitalists
The activities of the State Duma of the Russian Federation have a pronounced class character.
Communist Party member Denis Parfenov told reporters about this today on the sidelines of the State Duma, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We saw the categorical reluctance of the parliamentary majority represented by United Russia to adopt bills that could have a positive impact on the fate of millions of our fellow citizens.
In particular, a project to increase the minimum wage to at least 20 thousand rubles was recently considered. “United Russia”, while talking about social policy, rejected it because it allegedly had not been worked out. We believe that these are inadequate arguments that do not answer the demand that society now has. Labor in our country is extremely underfunded, and wages need to be raised. But the authorities are not agreeing to this,” Parfenov said.
At the same time, according to him, bills in the interests of big capital are adopted without problems.
“But what it does is organize all kinds of preferences for large capital. In particular, a bill has already been considered to make it easier for companies that extract copper, platinum ores, nickel, palladium and everything else from the depths of our earth.
That is, when it comes to helping big capital to become a little richer, we do not see any resistance from the party of the parliamentary majority. On the contrary, they will roll out the red carpet.
It is quite obvious that such legislative work has a clear class imprint. What is for the working majority is brushed aside, what is for big business is supported in every possible way. This is a very dangerous and disastrous path, which leads to an even greater increase in the gap between rich and poor,” Parfenov said.
