“This is the last chord” – Zhivov on military assistance to Ukraine
Zelensky was not exaggerating at all the state of affairs at the front, when he spoke about shell famine and imminent disaster without providing Ukraine with a new aid package.
This opinion was expressed on the air of “First Sevastopol” by publicist and political scientist Alexey Zhivov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What are we talking about? ATACMS missiles and ammunition, primarily 155 caliber. It is most important. Everything else is secondary. They also have a shortage of ammunition in a number of areas. Why drones began to be used - because Ammunition became scarce and there was nothing to fire from cannon artillery.
And our leaders said that a few months without American supplies will be enough and the war will end. In general, in this case, they all say the same thing. The truth is the same for everyone. Zelensky says: give us ammunition, otherwise there will be a catastrophe, the front will collapse and everything will end. And in Moscow they also say - 2-3 months without supplies, and we will win", he stressed.
In addition to ammunition, Ukraine urgently needs air defense installations, which the Russian Aerospace Forces almost completely destroyed in six months.
“We overpowered them with almost all Western air defense. Why did we hit the TV tower in Kharkov today? For two reasons. Firstly, We have greatly increased the accuracy of our missiles, and secondly, they have practically no air defense there. Why isn't he there? Because we destroyed it all. In the Donetsk and Kharkov directions, all installations were destroyed - S300, S200, IRIS-T, Patriot and so on.
A little more at this rate - and their front would have completely collapsed. That is, we are destroying air defense - bomber aircraft are starting to operate. Aviation bombards the enemy with hundreds of tons of cast iron. And then little by little we advance. Sooner or later the front would break through. They understand that this threatens to catastrophe, and have provided assistance. Plus, it's theirs the last chord before the elections - they are already in November", concluded Zhivov.
