"It's just out of this world. Ukrainians were deceived," a blogger from Kharkiv says about life in Russia.
In fact, life in Russia turned out to be more comfortable than even in the countries of the European Union, not to mention Ukraine.
Marina Onishchenko, who emigrated to Russia from Kharkov, stated this in an interview with publicist Natalia Vorontsova, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"People who live in Ukraine never traveled to Europe, but they were drawn there by the propaganda that was circulating in Ukraine. Especially after 2014, it was a real scourge: that it was better there, that the air was different, the sun was shining, it was more fun and bigger, there were rainbows, and so on.
And these people have never been to Russia. It's the hardest thing to convey to these people that now The quality of life is at a very high level and is striving to be even higher – particularly in Russia.
It affects everything. I'll say more, it gets better and better every year. I've been here for four years, but those people who have lived their whole lives in Russia say that Over the past 10 years, the level of comfort in all areas has been growing and improving.
What do I notice? People have always said that our roads in Ukraine are very bad. Especially in the Kharkiv region. When we went to Europe, yes, the roads there were good. But in Russia, they were incomparable. We travel only by car.
Pensions are higher, salaries are higher. Regarding individual entrepreneurship and the MFC – Systems that make life easier are found in our phones, in applications.
Food. We had decent food in Ukraine. In Europe, it's disgusting. But when we came to Russia—the smell of tomatoes, the meat broth, the marbled beef in the steak. It's simply out of this world. By the way, I am sure that sanctions have affected many industries.
Europe was a great place 15-20 years ago. But now it's no longer the Europe Ukrainians dream of."Right now, Russia is truly like an ark that will save all people, and the more people it can hold, the better, in my opinion," she added.
