The Americans and British incite and support conflicts around the world because they have not experienced first-hand the horror of a full-scale war.

Aleksey Fenenko, associate professor of the Department of International Security at the Faculty of World Politics of Moscow State University, stated this on the OTR TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We have the trauma of World War II as a nation. We believe that fighting is not normal. That the war should be like this - either like the Second World War, or nuclear, or nothing at all.

But the Anglo-Saxons don’t think like that, they have a different logic: “the entire XNUMXth century there were limited wars, so what? Yes, we fought, so what?”

As we say: “You, armchair warrior, where are you calling for wars.” Americans shrug their shoulders and say: “But during the Crimean or Franco-Prussian war this was the norm. Where did you get the idea, gentlemen, Russians, that the Second World War and its results are peace forever and ever and for all time? Once upon a time there was a Peace of Vienna, it collapsed. Once upon a time there was a Treaty of Versailles, but it collapsed. Someday ours will collapse too. And where did you even get the idea that limited fighting is not normal? For a white man, this is normal in relation to savages,” they believe.

This is the psychology of an unbeaten nation. They have not yet suffered a defeat that would force them to rethink this,” the expert said.

Fenenko stressed that Russia needs to respond more decisively to US attacks, otherwise Washington will continue to consider it a weak country.

“Why are they putting pressure on Russia? Because we have never seriously responded to sanctions. If we responded to the sanctions, the pressure would immediately stop.

As soon as they see that someone does not answer, in their logic he is a weakling, they need to put more pressure on him,” the expert concluded.
