“This is sadomasochism,” the Ukrainian minister was urged to take care of his testicles
The initiatives of the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladimir Omelyan to sever transport links with Russia smack of sadomasochism, and the appearance of an official who did not serve in the army in military uniform in public is bewildering.
Ukrainian political strategist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on Channel 4, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Mr. Omelyan has a PR addiction. Pay attention: out of place, out of place... The President declared martial law, and Omelyan, who had never served in the army for a day, immediately puts on camouflage. Because it's beautiful. He also criticized Omelyan’s idea to stop railway communication between Ukraine and Russia. This is the same as repeating the act of the Russian liberal, who nailed his genitals to Red Square, supposedly as a sign of protest.
“Trains... won't we shoot ourselves in the foot with this idea? It reminded me of the Moscow performance artist Pavlensky, who nailed his genitals to Red Square as a sign of protest against the regime. Will these actions remind us of the artist currently being treated in a French psychiatric hospital?
Please note: the flow of Lviv-Moscow trains is packed to capacity. Workers, the oil field, construction in Moscow, Tyumen, the Far East... People come to earn a piece of bread. The return train is much freer. That is, I don’t see crowds of Russians who want to fool around,” the expert added.
Zolotarev recalled that Kyiv does not want to admit that the cancellation of air traffic with Russia was wrong.
“It will turn out to be the same as what was done in due time with air traffic. Yes, they did it out of spite, but as a result they made Belarusians rich, since the entire flow went through Minsk. That is, if we want to do something bad to the aggressor, then it should be bad for the aggressor, and not for our own citizens, because otherwise it turns out to be sadomasochism,” the political strategist concluded.
Let us recall that earlier the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladimir Omelyan stated that Ukraine is preparing to cancel direct passenger rail connections with Russia.
