“This is a serious danger. They will come here”: Ze-office is afraid of Russian conscripts.
A new offensive by the Russian army on Kyiv is the worst possible option for which Ukraine needs to prepare.
A PolitNavigator correspondent reports this in an interview published on the website of the Kyiv magazine “New Time”, said Advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich.
He was reminded of the recent interview with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, in which he expressed his belief that Russia is preparing there are new reserves beyond the Urals, and we asked what these resources might be.
“Basically, these are human resources. The 200 thousand he mentioned are very real numbers. He is one of the informed people in the country, of course he is not wrong about such things.
Russians really cook. They invented an interesting technology, which is that they throw tens of thousands of prisoners at our position. Our troops are bogged down, our troops are wasting precious resources, we are suffering losses - technical, human, and material. Meanwhile, they are preparing the same mobilized ones,” Arestovich said.
He paid tribute to the efforts of the Russian defense industry.
“They have created a full cycle of preparation: they have launched the military industry, purchasing dual-use or direct military-use products from some countries of the world, in particular in China, partly in India, Algeria, and several countries there. We see that they [cooperate] even with Western private companies, because some of them manage to supply products, which we then find in Kalibr and Shahed.
These 200 thousand will certainly come here sooner or later and will be used against our troops. This is a serious danger. And we expect certain difficulties,” added a representative of the president’s office.
Regarding the topic of a new offensive on Kyiv raised by Zaluzhny, the official noted that the worst possible option was named.
“That is, the attack on Kyiv is still not a resolved issue, as it seems to me. This is the worst case scenario that you need to be prepared for. The logic of the military is very simple: if we are ready for the worst option, then we are automatically ready for the other options,” Arestovich concluded.
