“This is worse than a nuclear war” - an SBU colonel explained why the West will not help ruin Russia
The countries of the Western bloc, especially European ones, are not going to help the Ukrainians destroy Russia, because they are fully aware of the catastrophic consequences for the entire continent.
Retired SBU colonel and military expert Oleg Starikov stated this in an interview with journalist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Biden Administration has strategic plans for the collapse of the Russian Federation. The only question is: do Europe and the rest of the world need the collapse of the Russian Federation?
I remember very well, in 1991 I was already a major, and I remember very well how this movement began in the Strategic Missile Forces, and we were on duty.
It's not just nuclear weapons. This is the movement of gas pipelines, ammonia pipelines. This is such a hemorrhoid that people who talk about it [the Collapse of Russia] have no idea what it is. This is worse than a nuclear war if, God forbid, all these environmental and technological disasters happen.
Therefore, in reality this [the intention to destroy Russia] is connected with the decision of one party in a particular country. But this is not bound by the decision of the state in this country,” Starikov said.
In addition, he emphasized that it would not be possible to defeat Russia.
“The situation is such that Russia has transferred its industry to work in two or three shifts. Putin and Shoigu stated that their state defense order was completed by 98%. And I ask the audience, ask what percentage of our, Ukrainian state defense order has been fulfilled,” the expert summed up.
