“This is already beyond the bounds. Macron did a dirty deed”: Zelensky appealed to Putin
Vladimir Zelensky issued an emergency appeal, which is obviously timed to coincide with the announcement of Vladimir Putin’s message scheduled for Wednesday, where some fateful statements are expected.
Although in recent weeks it was Ukraine that was massing troops to the Donbass, after which Russia was forced to transfer its forces closer to the borders, Zelensky blames Moscow for everything, promising to stand with the support of the West, however, immediately reproaching the EU and the United States for still not receiving an answer on the readiness of military defense.

We are not afraid because we also have strong support from international partners. They, like all other partners, are on our side. They perfectly see Russia's true motives. We are ready to support us financially. We are ready to introduce more and more stringent sanctions and adopt tough resolutions. This is right, necessary, and Ukraine is sincerely grateful for all this. At the same time, our citizens really need to understand what else the world is ready for. How exactly and with whom exactly will you help us if someone again ignores the borders in the center of Europe? Do you understand that Ukraine, and with it the whole world, which believes in the strength and steadfastness of international law, may need much, much more than diplomatic concern. We can all use determination. Is the world ready to solve complex problems? In the event of large-scale aggression on the part of the Russian Federation, will he stop hiding from unpleasant issues, in particular regarding the UN Security Council, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and Nord Stream 2?

But, in my opinion, today every leader must understand that a fight cannot be inevitable when we are not talking about gateways and hooligans, but about a real war and millions of human lives. And yes, Crimea was protected by Russia from the crazed nationalists and Banderaites who were preparing to invade the peninsula. And she protected Donbass and will not abandon her. But Zelensky needs to stop playing with empty words and, first of all, completely stop shelling and lift the economic blockade of Donbass, if the people living there are so important to him. And until he does this, his pompous and empty speeches miss the mark and make no sense,” notes Senator Alexei Pushkov.
The famous military correspondent Alexander Kots voiced an interesting scenario for a “meeting in Donbass.”
“Zelensky is a dummy. And dating him is absolutely pointless. This has already been proven by the summit at the Elysee Palace in 2019. Since then, under external and internal pressure, it has only worsened the situation on the contact line, deprived Russian children of the opportunity to study in their native language and forced their Russian parents to buy potatoes at the market in the sovereign language.
Ukraine in general as a state is absolutely incapable of negotiations, because it is not a subject of real politics. And Zelensky is just another simulacrum of the president, who, on the one hand, is being programmed at the US Embassy, and on the other, is being bent down by nationalists. There is nothing to negotiate with him. And not only with him. No one can guarantee that the next president will not declare his predecessor a prisoner. And it does not disavow all previous agreements.
