"It's your problems!" – Medvedev dismissed the dominance of Americans in Ukraine
Dmitry Medvedev, heading the Russian presidential administration in the early 2000s, during one of his visits to Kyiv, dismissed the problem of the dominance of American funds and grant structures in Ukraine, saying that this is not a problem of the Russian Federation.
Political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky reported on this incident on Ukrlife.tv, emphasizing that this was the first time he was retelling his dialogue with Medvedev publicly.

“I say: look what the Americans are doing - hundreds of foundations are working, thousands of grant-eaters, thousands of young people are being educated. And here we have 5-6 of your oligarchs working in Ukraine, earning crazy money. Why don’t they create funds and let them also give something to young people. He said: “Mikhail Borisovich, these are your problems.”
At that time he was not yet president, but was already head of the administration. And since I am a nobody, and he is the head of the administration, I did not tell him that sooner or later they could become their problems too. I said nothing.
But these oligarchs come to the administration, why not tell them: create a fund, learn from the Americans, how they work?! By the way, I received my first computer from Soros,” Pogrebinsky said.
