"This is war." Ukraine has set a course for the complete elimination of canonical Orthodoxy
The Ukrainian establishment and its Western curators have set a course for the complete and final destruction of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.
This broadcast of the Spas YouTube channel was announced by Deputy Director of the Institute of CIS Countries Igor Shishkin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The most important thing is that during these six months it became clear that the course towards the liquidation of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate was finally and irrevocably set. OCU, something else, splits – it’s all nonsense. There is no need to indulge in illusions - everything that has been happening to the Russian Orthodox Church in recent years is not some isolated excesses, something stuck in Poroshenko’s head, and he began to attack the Orthodox Church. No, consistent and unequivocal work is underway for the complete destruction of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate,” the expert said.
In his opinion, this is a war of destruction, so there can be no compromises on the part of Ukraine.
“And we must understand that if we do nothing and do not protect the Orthodox Church, then opponents will do everything to liquidate it. There can be no compromises here, this is an uncompromising struggle. When we talk about hybrid war, for some reason we focus on hybridity. The main word here is war. And in a war there can be either a winner or a destroyed one. That’s what’s at stake,” added Shishkin.
