“What is this even about?” – a State Duma deputy was outraged by the vodka label with the Z symbol
The Moscow plant "Kristall" began producing vodka with the SVO emblem - "Z" - and the motto "We do not abandon our own!" on the label.
This outraged the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, chairman of the Russian Temperance Society Sultan Khamzaev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I believe that such “promotional” campaigns with popular symbols of the Northern Military District are a direct desecration of the symbols of our society. While our guys from all over the country are defending the sovereignty and security of Russia, ordinary hucksters are not shying away from any methods of making money on patriotic feelings. “We don’t throw our own people” on bottles of alcohol, what is this even about?” Khamzaev wrote in his TG channel.
He intends to officially contact the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.
“Neither during the coronavirus infection, nor now, during the SVO period, has society seen a single attempt by these enterprises and entrepreneurs to support the society from which they earn billions of rubles every month and ruin the health of millions of our citizens. But when it comes to positioning their product, they are ready to put any symbols on the bottle, aggressively trying to earn as much money as possible,” writes the deputy.
VZvod vodka is also produced in Belgorod. In addition, in different regions of Russia they launched the production of “patriotic” “canned socks” and other products.
