Kyiv, December 30 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk admitted that Ukraine should purchase “T” and “A” grade coal from the Donbass.

“You said DPR and LPR... What is this? The thieves and bandits who sit there... These are thieves. They steal from people. Weapons are supplied to them free of charge. They pay for weapons... This is how much coal you need to buy to buy one BUK,” he said, answering a question from journalists about the prospects for purchasing coal in the Donbass.
At the same time, he admitted that some Ukrainian thermal power plants can only operate on coal, which is mined in the Donbass. To resolve this issue, the relevant ministry will ensure the re-registration of state mines, which are under the control of Donetsk and Lugansk, after which coal will be paid only upon delivery, and the money will be transferred to the miners’ salary cards.
