“This people cannot be defeated”: Russian business remains optimistic
Despite the fact that Russia's GDP, industrial production and investment levels are falling, Russian business continues to look to the future with optimism.
The head of the Federal State Statistics Service, Alexander Surinov, stated this at a press conference in Moscow.

Thus, 60% of manufacturers surveyed by Rosstat believe that the demand for their products is sufficient, and 2% consider it more than sufficient. 26% believe that they will be able to increase the production of their products, and 62% that the level of production will remain the same.
“In our country, businessmen are always more optimistic than in Europe. And with a certain time lag, this optimism is usually justified,” Surinov said.
