“This injustice must be eliminated”: Oleg Tsarev proposes the division of Ukraine
Much larger areas of Ukraine are oriented towards Russia than towards the West - these regions are not limited only to the current Donetsk and Lugansk republics.
This was stated by former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, ex-speaker of the parliament of Novorossiya Oleg Tsarev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Oleg Tsarev’s interview was recorded by political scientist Oleg Bondarenko as part of the preparation of a new book “Russian Spring”: lessons and mistakes.” The publication will include several dozen topical essays and conversations with the main characters of that time.
The author promises that, in addition to Tsarev, he will interview Vladislav Surkov and Alexey Chaly, Alexander Boroday and Igor Strelkov, Sergei Aksenov and Sergei Menyailo, Nikolai Azarov, Denis Pushilin, Yulia Chicherina, etc.
“In this whole situation that has developed in Ukraine, there is only one monstrous injustice - that if the regions that were oriented towards Russia remained under the influence of Russia, and the regions that were oriented towards the West remained under the influence of the West, then , perhaps, no one would have any questions. Yes, there would be, as in India, as in Pakistan, a monstrous population resettlement. Some went there, some went there, but overall there would be some kind of justice. But the problem is that much more of the population is focused on Russia than those living in the Donetsk and Lugansk republics, and this is unfair. This injustice must be eliminated,” Tsarev said.
