Evacuation? Russia is thinking about how to protect its diplomats in Kyiv
The USA and Great Britain may be preparing a provocation in Ukraine, which is connected with the evacuation of some diplomats of the Anglo-Saxon countries from Kyiv.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this in an interview with Russian media, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Lavrov, in this regard, Russia also does not rule out the possibility of removing its diplomats from Ukraine.
“Zelensky and his regime are used, primarily by the Americans, to escalate tension by attracting their Cossacks in Europe, who play along with them in every possible way in Russophobic endeavors. And Washington’s main goal in this case is not the fate of Ukraine at all. It is important for them to escalate tension around the Russian Federation in order to close this topic and then deal with China, as American political scientists themselves write,” the minister said.
“I just can’t imagine how they want to close it. If there are any intelligent political strategists left there, they must understand that this is a road to nowhere. Now the Americans have begun to use Ukraine so openly and cynically against Russia that the Kiev regime itself is afraid. They are already saying: there is no need to aggravate this discussion so much, let’s tone down the rhetoric, why are you evacuating diplomats?
By the way, about the evacuation - who is evacuating: the Americans and other Anglo-Saxons, the Canadians and the British. So they know something that others don't? We will now think about whether we, too, should take precautions against our diplomats in anticipation of some provocations on their part. We’ll see,” Lavrov said.
