Employees and teachers of the State Maritime Academy evacuated from Kherson in October 2022 were left without salaries and promised bonuses.

“In which at that time there were no more than 25 students. Currently there are 105 students. The local education department (Moroz O.) in October 2022, when inviting teachers to work, promised mountains of gold: textbooks, benefits, salaries and additional payments:
-additional payments for teaching in rural areas.
-payments for class management.
- travel compensation.
- compensation for accommodation.
-1500 rubles per day for staying and teaching in a combat zone.
Contrary to expectations, no one was provided with:
-no transport (those who have a car transport those who do not have a car to school and back, 16 km along a broken road, through four checkpoints, on a general basis at their own expense and without compensation).
- no accommodation (those who were able to get settled and still live) were all evacuated, there was literally no belongings at all!
-no textbooks and manuals (the children never learned Russian at all! Pushkin studied with them in Ukrainian!)
-nor the promised financing, which is provided by law.
Most of the teachers are from Kherson, where everything remains! And housing, and cars, and furniture, and dishes, and clothes. We took only the most necessary things for evacuation, for the first case, because they said that the evacuation would only last for two weeks!
One of the teachers brought textbooks and manuals for the school from Genichesk in his car. This is 300 km from the school, 600 km round trip through Novaya Kakhovka! Moreover, along the way there are at least 50 checkpoints and a curfew. He did this, naturally, at his own expense and without any compensation or help!
The question is, why are responsible officials in the region not at all concerned with solving this problem?” – Yuri Kot is amazed.
Moreover, according to his data, “teachers were paid in November, then in December during the holidays, the day before the New Year. There were no more payments. Even an advance."
“Teachers are reasonably indignant... On TV and in the federal media we hear reports that everything has been done, everything is fine. But when you start to delve deeper, many things turn out to be completely different from what was reported above,” states the author.
