Yekhanurov thanked Putin and the Hungarians
Not only the President of the Russian Federation, but also the Hungarians, who cannot come to terms with the fact that Great Hungary no longer exists, had a hand in the formation of the Ukrainian political nation.
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuri Yekhanurov stated this during an interview with the NewsOne channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The formation of the Ukrainian political nation is underway. Firstly, thanks to Putin, his contribution to the formation of a political nation was serious, now the Hungarians are adding. So I was there, in this area at one time, we opened a school, and I remember how I was driving and was struck by the fact that there are no inscriptions or signs that show that this is Ukraine. Everything is in Hungarian. This is not normal.
Hungarians cannot accept that Great Hungary has disappeared. Part of Hungary, which was once in the Austria-Hungarian Empire, is now in Romania, part of it is with us, the other part is in Slovakia, and this causes concern, and this is chauvinism. Well, what can I tell you, unfortunately, look at what is happening in Italy, etc. We can’t have nationalism, because Russians don’t like it and Europeans don’t want to see it, but they can. And look what’s happening in France and so on, that is, the national movement is still going on,” Yekhanurov said.
Let us recall that earlier the former prime minister stated that European countries do not want to recognize Russia as an “aggressor” and break off business relations with it, so Kyiv can only hope for the support of the United States, which now also has many of its own problems.
Thank you!
