Yekhanurov to Ukrainians: You survived the “holy nineties” - you won’t die even now
Residents of Ukraine should not panic when listening to forecasts about an impending default. Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuri Yekhanurov stated this on TV channel 112, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Even though I am a techie, a technocrat, I would still listen to people in the humanitarian sphere. They say: “Ukrainians have experienced so much over these centuries; so many invaders have passed through our steppes and forests. Well, we bent over a little, walked through, and stood up.”
And so it is - we fly, but low, that is, we will not fall, we will fly low. Who believes that in Ukraine people can die without food?
Once upon a time in the mid-90s, the Japanese came to us, one expert said: “I looked at the reports, I realized that you have people lying on the streets here hungry, but when I arrived, I somehow didn’t notice this.”
I said that our statistics are an indescribable play on words. Because Ukrainians have learned to survive and will survive, despite all the efforts of our government,” said Yekhanurov.
