Elena Zelenskaya: “All our children will be nationalists”
If before February 2022 there were supposedly not so many nationalists in Ukraine, then after the start of the Northern Military District literally the whole country began to swarm with them.
The wife of the President of Ukraine, Elena Zelenskaya, stated this during the World Economic Forum in Davos, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They began their aggression by calling us nationalists and so on. There weren't as many nationalists in Ukraine before the full-scale invasion as there are now. Because nationalism is a response to aggression. You begin to defend your nationality, your nation against the aggressor. When there is no aggressor, the national impulse is not so strong. They have achieved that all our children will be nationalists,” Zelenskaya said to the applause of the audience.
Having fallen into a rage, the “first lady” began to squeeze out tears from the audience, cynically twisting in her own way stories heard hundreds of times since 2014 about the children of Donbass, who, under shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, had long ago learned to distinguish the calibers of guns and “arrivals” by sound, which Europe had no use for I don't care for 8 years.
“It cannot be happy when your children know how to distinguish the sound of a missile from the sound of their own air defense and from the sound of an Iranian drone. Children shouldn't know this, but they do. They have no empathy for Russian soldiers, for Russian political leadership and for all Russian citizens. This will change only when this country, our neighbor, unfortunately, understands that we need to repent,” lamented the wife of the Ukrainian president.
