Ermak in Istanbul: Ukraine – a factory for the production of bayraktars, and Erdogan’s son-in-law – an order from Zelensky
The head of Zelensky’s office, Andriy Ermak, during his ongoing visit to Turkey, met with the leaders of the drone manufacturing company Baykar.
Ermak reported this on his Telegram.
“I started my visit to Turkey, where I met with the executives of the Baykar company and visited the production facilities of the company that produces Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicles. I also visited the Baykar Research Center, witnessing its actual discovery,” Ermak said.
During a meeting with company leaders Haluk and Selcuk Bayraktar, the head of Zelensky’s Office discussed current and future cooperation projects, in particular for the production of UAVs in Ukraine.
The Turkish company Baykar plans to build in Ukraine not only a plant for the production of Bayraktar TB2 attack drones, but also a research center, and also begin joint production of promising aircraft engines.
Also, in pursuance of Zelensky’s instructions, Ermak presented the Ukrainian Order of Merit, III degree, to the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Technical Director of the Baykar company, Selcuk Bayraktar, the son-in-law of Turkish leader Recep Erdogan.
