Ermek Taychibekov went on hunger strike due to the lawlessness of the prison authorities
A political prisoner of the ethnocratic regime of Kazakhstan, human rights activist and Russophile Ermek Taychibekov spoke about the brutal beatings of prisoners by the administration of a colony in the Almaty region.
The social activist himself has been on a hunger strike since August 10 because of the inhumane attitude of prison guards towards him.
Ermek Taychibekov managed to capture on video camera and make public the consequences of the pogrom and beating carried out by the administration of Institution LA 155/8 in the village of Zarechny, Almaty region.
According to the social activist, the colony staff simply, for no apparent reason, burst into the barracks where the prisoners lived, began destroying everything around, including furniture, and beating people for no reason. The cruelty of the jailers is evidenced by the numerous bloody traces left after the execution.
Further, as Taichibekov testifies, the jailers dragged twelve people to the isolation ward with broken legs and arms.
The Kazakh Russophile himself went on a hunger strike on August 10 in response to the actions of the administration of the colony where he is being held.
In particular, Taichibekov was kept in a punishment cell; for nine months he was prohibited from visiting his loved ones, telephone conversations with them, or receiving transfers from outside. This, coupled with a hunger strike, can seriously affect the health of a political prisoner, since prisoners in the institution are fed extremely poorly.
