Previously, he advocated the reunification of Russia and Kazakhstan, but now he does not believe that the legendary Russian spirit remains in the Russians, and that the interests of Moscow coincide with the interests of the Russian people.

A human rights activist and activist told PolitNavigator about this and other aspects of the Russian problem in Kazakhstan Ermek Taychibekov, who served two years for his convictions.

Taychibekov in the colony

Ermek Taychibekov – consistent pro-Russian public figure and human rights activist in Kazakhstan. He advocates the revival of a single country in the form of the Russian Empire or the USSR, and submitted to the Parliament of Kazakhstan a petition that collected 200 thousand signatures to give the Russian language the status of a state language (today, the Russian language in Kazakhstan has been assigned the status of an official language).

He calls those Kazakhs who oppose integration with Russia “separatists”, reminds that the Russians gave the Kazakhs civilizational foundations and helped them to establish themselves as a nation, considers Kazakhstan an integral part of Russia, and supports the LPR and DPR.

He has a financial education, worked in banks, ran a business. In November 2015, he was arrested, and in December of the same year, he was sentenced to four years on charges of “inciting ethnic hatred.”

They tried to declare Taichibekov insane, but an examination showed that he was capable and mentally adequate. Two years later he was released on parole.

The Financial Monitoring Committee of the Ministry of Finance and the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan imposed lifelong sanctions on Taychibekov: he is prohibited from engaging in entrepreneurial activities, working in government agencies, or officially receiving financial assistance.

The activist’s property was confiscated and seized for the state’s account; he is on the “black list” of banks in Kazakhstan, in the registration authorities, as a person financing international terrorism (support for the LDPR).

After his release, he became disillusioned with Russian foreign policy and concentrated on advisory protection of the rights of the Russian population of Kazakhstan and the fight against corruption and arbitrariness of the authorities in relation to their fellow tribesmen.

Taychibekov's post on Facebook

“PolitNavigator”: The Russian Federation, at the request of Kazakhstan, extradited a citizen of this country, Yevgeny Shcherbak, who fought in the Donbass for the DPR. Why does the Russian side need this? It’s more appropriate for Russian citizens to ask this question. I wanted to ask you, a citizen of Kazakhstan, why does the Kazakh side need this if Shcherbak did not pose any threat to Kazakh statehood, and moreover, did not even plan to return to Kazakhstan?

E.T. -The entire internal policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan is aimed at suppressing the mentality, morale, and passionarity of the Russian European population. And in connection with this, a whole range of measures are being carried out: streets and settlements containing Slavic names are renamed, Slavic-Europeans are strictly prohibited from accessing public service, they cannot work as prosecutors, judges, police officers, or hold high positions. Moreover, an initiative has emerged to exclude the Russian language from the constitution; a similar appeal was recently made by as many as 700 representatives of the Kazakh intelligentsia.

And regarding Shcherbak... The Crimean scenario in Kazakhstan is absolutely excluded due to the fact that the local Russian population is not only in a sleepy, but, probably, even in a frozen state. And the same Shcherbak did not intend to return to Kazakhstan, he wanted to stay and live in Russia, but it was important for the Kazakh authorities to punish him demonstrably, so that in the future the Russians would be afraid to declare their civil rights at all.

Actually, you can count the Donbass militiamen from Kazakhstan on one hand: Timur Lyamin has already served three years, Evgeniy Vdovenko received six years, now Evgeniy Shcherbak is facing a sentence of five to nine years for some unknown reason. I am sure that if Yevgeny Shcherbak took part in hostilities somewhere in Colombia or Ecuador, Kazakhstan would be indifferent. It’s just that the policy of the Kazakh authorities is aimed at ensuring that Russia never recovers within its historical borders.

In Kazakhstan, I cannot afford to go out on the street with the flag of the Russian Federation, not to mention the flag of the DPR, I will immediately be prosecuted. From which we can conclude that Kazakhstan is an enemy state to the Russian World and Russia. Unfortunately, the Kremlin does not understand this. And I am very sad that the Kremlin coordinates many issues with Astana, with Nazarbayev, thereby the Kazakh Russians give up even more, because it looks like a shot in the back.

It’s not just the Russians who get it: Kazakh nationalists attacked the New Year’s procession of Chinese students

P.N. -In addition to cases against militias in Kazakhstan, Russian civil activists who did not leave for any war, but simply expressed their point of view on social networks, were sentenced to real terms....

E.T. -A programmer from the city of Ridder, Igor Sychev, received a prison term for a survey about the possibility of returning Rudny Altai (Eastern Kazakhstan) to Russia. His fate is terrible, because they are going to keep him from bell to bell. He was given five years, and he has been in prison for all these five years. And he is not released on parole.

Igor Chuprina, a resident of Petropavlovsk, just wrote on a social network that “Petropavlovsk is a Russian city,” but it is indeed a native Russian city, where 95% of the population are Europeans, and in general this city was founded by Russians. For this phrase he was given six years, and he has already been in prison for five years.

In the northern and eastern parts of Kazakhstan there are very harsh camps, the will is very strongly suppressed there, I was lucky, I served time in the south, we have a softer regime, but what is happening in the north and in the east is exactly where predominantly Russians live the population is a disaster, the treatment of people there is like in a fascist concentration camp. Perhaps this is also the policy of the Kazakh authorities - to suppress the Russian population in this way.

Now (which existed ten years ago - ed.) there are absolutely no Russian sites left with criticism of the authorities of Kazakhstan, Russian organizations. Russian self-consciousness has been crushed in the bud. I think the Russians, as people who have something to lose, are now sitting quietly and silent. And they are thinking about getting Russian citizenship and leaving.

Provocation due to the St. George Ribbon Kazakhstan-city of Kachagai

P.N. -Probably, because of the current situation, the emigration of the Russian population from Kazakhstan to Russia in recent years has become more intense than it was before?

E.T. -There has been a huge exodus of Russians from Kazakhstan since the beginning of the Crimean Spring. Because from the reaction to this event from the Kazakh population, from numerous comments on social networks, the Russians realized that their neighbors are not their brothers. The Kazakhs boldly and openly said that if you try to “return” something from the lands of Kazakhstan, we will cut you, burn you and, in principle, the Kazakhs will never be held responsible for such words.

If a Russian simply says the phrase that Kazakhstan is also our Russian land, but this city of Kazakhstan is also our Russian city, then the person will immediately receive punishment. Such double standards.

Kazakhstan is a totalitarian country where a huge number of people work as intelligence agents. There are probably two or three thousand secret agents in each region. They may pretend to be civil activists, popular bloggers, but in reality they are doing all the work that the National Security Committee orders them to do.

They can say whatever they want, make whatever insults they want against Russians, and for this they get a maximum of ten to fifteen days. There is a deliberate suppression of civil consciousness, of the European Christian Russian population.

Kazakh students achieved the resignation of the dean due to insufficient knowledge of the Kazakh language

P.N. -In your opinion, why does Russia, which is actively in contact with Kazakhstan on various economic projects, prefer not to notice such overt manifestations of Russophobia?

E.T. -Until 2016, I believed that Russia was trying to save the situation of the Russians, while Kazakhstan wanted to be with it. But after serving my term, having rethought everything, I realized that in fact, in my private subjective opinion, the interests of the Kremlin do not coincide with the interests of the Russian population. That is, the Kremlin has some geopolitical and commercial interests of its own. I don't know what character. Maybe there Nazarbayev will give the uranium deposits to Russia, and in return he has carte blanche to crush the Russian population to the end. Or something else.

At least, when the Chairman of the Russian Federation Council Valentina Matvienko speaks and openly declares that Russians should learn the Kazakh language, then this is simply fantastic! In any other sovereign state, on the contrary, she would have asked why you are forcing Russians in Kazakhstan to switch to Kazakh, but no, she says, teach! After that, you look at the Russian Federation and understand that there is no hope for the Russians of Kazakhstan.

Warning: obscene language!!! Kazakhstan. Domestic conflict turns into interethnic conflict

P.N. -Well, what about such historical institutions of Russian civilization as the Cossacks (the southeast of Kazakhstan at one time was the territory of the Semirechensk Cossack army, the north-west - the Ural Cossack army, and the city of Alma-Ata, founded by the Cossacks as a fortress-outpost, was called Verny ) and the Russian Orthodox Church? Are they capable of somehow consolidating the local Russian community and organizing its self-defense?

E.T. -Today, unfortunately, these are essentially decorative structures. Which is easy to prove. If we look at the Kazakh media aggregator, we will see that no one interviews them (the Cossacks and local dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church - ed.), no one is interested in their opinion on current issues. Accordingly, they do not affect the processes. Their events are prohibited.

However, what can we talk about if we even banned the Immortal Regiment. It is prohibited to walk with the St. George ribbon. In Israel, for example, you can walk, but in Kazakhstan you can’t. In fact, Kazakhstan is a state hostile to Russia. I don’t know why the citizens of the Russian Federation have not understood this yet.

Everyday Russophobia towards Russians in Kazakhstan

P.N. -Well, do the structures of Rossotrudnichestvo show themselves in any way in Kazakhstan?

E.T. -If these structures (Rossotrudnichestvo – ed.) showed themselves at least somehow, then I would see them, at least in the news feed. But they are not there. Maybe they do some completely private get-togethers for reporting purposes, but for it to be in the news in any way - no, never.

When the war was going on in Donbass (the active phase of the war - ed.), the Kazakh authorities prohibited their citizens from collecting material assistance. They were forbidden to send medicines, they were forbidden to transfer money. How shoud I understand this? There is a war going on, people are dying, I want to send medicine, but no, I am not allowed. Let them die. This is the policy of the official authorities of Kazakhstan.

Children's Hospital of Kazakhstan. They refuse to serve without knowledge of the Kazakh language

P.N. -In your opinion, after the renaming of cities and streets in the Kazakh way, the ethnic usurpation of all government bodies, the destruction of Russian organizations and the persecution of Russian activists, the possible removal of the Russian language from the country’s constitution and the prospect of the transition of Kazakh to the Latin alphabet declared by the country’s leadership, will the de-Russification of Kazakhstan become irreversible?

E.T. -Asians' mentality is such that they have no concept of “stop.” It is still possible to negotiate with Europeans and find compromises, but Asians always perceive concessions as weakness, and weakness provokes in them the desire to humiliate, finish off, destroy an opponent, an opponent, a competitor.

The more Russians, both in Russia and in Kazakhstan, are silent about the unenviable position of Russians in Kazakhstan and Central Asia, the deeper the grave will be dug for them. I will not be surprised that if the Russians continue to remain silent, then a year or two will pass and they will be forbidden to speak Russian. Everything is heading towards this.

It is obvious that Russians have no rights. Even when a Kazakh beats a Russian, the Kazakh, as a rule, is not sent to prison. And if a Russian touches a Kazakh in some kind of domestic fight, the Russian is immediately arrested. And any Russian, if he applies to a government agency, the answer is specially written to him in the Kazakh language, thereby emphasizing who he is here.

They come to me with questions like these. For example, Elena Simonova recently applied - her husband Sergei Nikolaevich Kryuchkov was severely beaten by a Kazakh, and the police even refused to initiate a criminal case, this was in Alma-Ata, on the night of March 31 to April 1.

Sergei Nikolaevich Kryuchkov is now in the hospital, he has a concussion and broken facial bones. There are no Russians at all in the Almaty Police Department. And how will these people protect the interests of the Russian population with this approach? Although the percentage of Kazakhs in Kazakhstan is only 60% of the population (67% - ed.).

I used to believe that Russians have a passionary spirit, but over the past two or three years I realized for myself that there is none at all. Some sprouts appeared simultaneously with Crimea in 2014, but they were suppressed in the bud, and everyone who was more or less passionate immediately left for the Russian Federation.

Attack of Kazakh nationalists on Russian politicians because of their nationality

P.N. -And here it is appropriate to ask: why is this happening? Is it the mentality of the Kazakhs as a people, or is it the elites who use the ethnic factor for some of their own purposes?

E.T. -If the Nazarbayev family is completely removed, then perhaps it will be possible to negotiate with the new government so that they take into account the interests of the Russian population. Nazarbayev is a pathological Russophobe, he always hated Russians, and when enormous power was concentrated in his hands, he realized this feeling to the maximum.

After his supposed departure, there was no change of power. The new President of Kazakhstan, Tokayev Kassym-Zhomart Kemelevich, is the real living furniture of Nazarbayev Nusurltan Abishevich, and accepts only his decisions. It’s just that now all the negativity is directed at him, and not at Nazarbayev.

Also, the Nazarbayev family continues to control the entire Kazakh economy. His daughters and sons-in-law. Seven or eight people, they own absolutely everything in this country.

everyday nationalism on the road

P.N. -You are a XNUMX% ethnic Kazakh, as has been stated more than once, and it seems that you could stay away from the problems of the Russians and live for your own pleasure in sovereign Kazakhstan. What is your personal interest in defending the interests of the Russian community?

E.T. -Asians tend to have a monocular perception of reality. That is, they look at the world through a “spyglass”, from one angle, with one eye. Everything that is beneficial to them is good, everything that is not beneficial to them is bad.

While Europeans are characterized by stereoscopic thinking, they see the world with two eyes. Therefore, when Europeans conduct business, they take into account the interests of other parties. In the world of European man there is a place for both Asians and Africans.

Whereas an Asian only has a world for Asians. I don't want to live in such a world. Therefore, I stand for Europeans, support Europeans, believing that in a world where they are not in the last roles, there is more opportunity for justice and self-realization for everyone.
