Ermolaev: “Europe is being pushed towards war with Russia on the territory of Ukraine”

Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Ermolaev stated this on the Nash TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The intensification of the conflict in Ukraine, which may indeed move into a new hot phase, may result, firstly, in a truly declared Ukrainian-Russian war. And such a war really has many stakeholders, because it is not only military operations, not only a struggle for borders. The Ukrainian-Russian war is a historical event that can be a turning point, with unpredictable consequences, especially for neither side,” the expert believes.
“And, secondly, the potential of this conflict may be associated with a new split, confrontation, and even intervention in military events in European countries and Russia on the territory of Ukraine. It seems to me that this is where we need to look for the answer to the question of why the conflict in Ukraine is constantly being pushed towards a new confrontation. A war between European states and Russia is the plan,” Ermolaev said.
“Europe is being pushed into conflict with Russia. We are talking about part of the Western elites, for whom the aggravation of the situation in the winter of 2021-2022 on the continent with a possible military confrontation, even hot in Ukraine and cold in the continent, is a big victory, a very big victory,” the political scientist explained.
