This was announced by the Vice-President of the European Commission, European Commissioner for the Euro and Social Dialogue Valdis Dombrovskis, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the EU Delegation to Ukraine.
“We have very limited time. All requirements must be met by October. We will conduct an assessment in November and make a payment in December. ... We are talking about the fact that there are only seven requirements left, some of them are in the works, for example, a system of electronic asset declarations, which needs effective control and verification,” he said at a press conference in Kiev on Thursday.
The European Commissioner added that this is the introduction of registers for company owners, in which the ultimate beneficiary would become known, as well as the requirement not to trade and not to introduce prohibitive measures that would contradict the existing FTA agreement with the EU.
However, some requirements remained and remained mandatory for implementation from the second tranche, including the lifting of the moratorium on the export of unprocessed wood. According to him, among the requirements, which include 21 points, 14 of which have already been fulfilled.
