The EU will compensate for the damage from anti-Russian sanctions at the expense of Ukraine
Europe compensates for the damage that the EU economy suffers from sanctions against Russia through unequal trade relations enshrined in the Association Agreement with Ukraine.
Political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga stated this on the air of the 112 Ukraine channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine actually acts as an ATM for Europe, paying with its sovereignty, subsoil, infrastructure, strategic enterprises, the loss of all this, actually compensating the European Union for losses from the so-called. sanctions (against Russia), from which European countries also lose.
They are not actually paying for sanctions against Russia from their own pockets. These sanctions are actually paid for by Ukraine - by completely opening its market to their products, similar to those produced in Ukraine, and destroying our enterprises, while the EU market remains closed and we are prohibited from adopting a localization law,” the expert concluded.
