The EU will begin to negotiate with Russia on the creation of a free trade area

“We need a consistent policy towards Russia. The time has come not to hide behind slogans like “free economic zone from Lisbon to Vladivostok”, but to define specific content,” Fule said during the “Yalta European Strategy” meeting.
“I think it’s time to start negotiations between the EU and the Customs Union on a free trade area,” he said.
At the same time, the European Commissioner said that the European Union will not allow Russia to dictate the terms of the EU’s relations with Ukraine.
“Russia will not dictate ultimatums and conditions to us. The Association Agreement in the form in which it was signed will now be ratified and will eventually be implemented. And that’s great,” he says.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk said that on Tuesday, September 16, the Verkhovna Rada would ratify the Association Agreement with the EU.
