Ukraine will never receive any reparations or indemnities from Russia, and Russian frozen assets cannot simply be “squeezed out” and transferred to someone else, as the Ukrainian “Svidomo” dreams of.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Chaplyga stated this on air on the Politeka channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The EU comes out, have you noticed what they are offering? They say: “You know, well, it’s somehow not comme il faut to squeeze out money, to steal from the Russians, we froze, but even the interest cannot be given away. And you know, there is a good formula. We will agree with the Russians that they will voluntarily invest this money in restoring the economy.”
What is the word “investment”? It’s that the Russians will buy from us, for three kopecks, for frozen money, everything that they destroyed and will own it for joint use, and they will use Europe as a lining, do I understand correctly? Brilliant!

He separately addressed fans of “reparations” and “indemnities” with the explanation that if Russia’s frozen assets are transferred to Ukraine, the value of the dollar will fall to zero, which no one will do.

Go to Google for your division and enter the word “reparations” to understand that this crap will never happen to us, and enter the word “indemnities” to understand that this crap will never happen. In general, check where these words came from and when they were used. This will help you sober up.
If you think that you can simply freeze, that is, you can freeze assets, but if you think that they can simply be taken away and transferred, then I will upset you. Because then the dollar will be worth exactly zero. They won't do this. If you think that you can live on interest, transfer it, then this is also a possible, real, but difficult topic.
