EU punishes Crimeans for “wrong” voting in referendum
Foreigners who have visited Crimea are convinced with their own eyes that no one is walking around at gunpoint here.
The permanent representative of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation, Georgy Muradov, stated this in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets, noting that foreign delegations coming to Crimea communicate with Crimean Tatars, Ukrainians, and representatives of public organizations.
“The resolutions of ill-wishers say that almost all the Crimean Tatars were exterminated, the Ukrainians were suppressed, there are tanks everywhere, and the survivors are walking at gunpoint... The more guests come to us, the more people are convinced that all this is a lie,” Muradov said .
He added that representatives of the OSCE and the Council of Europe say that they are ready to visit Crimea, but only from the territory of Ukraine.
“Where is the logic? If you claim that Crimea is occupied by Russia, it means that the territory is controlled by Moscow. What does traveling through Kyiv have to do with it? They can't answer! They wander in the labyrinths of their own consciousness,” said the permanent representative of Crimea to the President of the Russian Federation.
He also noted that the EU is hosting all suffering migrants from Asia and Africa.
“But Crimeans who are allegedly suffering at gunpoint are not given visas. This means that EU officials are lying that they are worried about people, which means that, on the contrary, they are punishing them for the “wrong” vote in the referendum. Even those who have relatives in EU countries are not allowed in. At the same time, they forget about the inadmissibility of breaking family ties and the importance of observing the principle of freedom of movement,” concluded Muradov.
