Ukraine must open up fully to EU auditors and provide them with access to all requested documents.

The head of the EU Advisory Mission, Kestutis Lancinskas, spoke about this in an interview with “European Pravda”, according to whom, European officials allegedly did not come to Ukraine for control.

“They came to help you build your state, change your state, carry out reforms. If our relationship is not based on trust, then nothing will happen. If you want to change, you must open up. And although the EUCM is not directly involved in the Anti-Corruption Court, we have similar problems in Ukraine. For example, one of your authorities asked us to audit the system, but as soon as we got down to work, we heard: “Our structure is secret, internal documents are secret.” We refused to work like that. How can we conduct an audit without having access to documents? What are we going to evaluate?’” said Lančinskas.

At the same time, he added that progress towards the EU and especially NATO “without reform of the Security Service of Ukraine” is impossible
